After 4 years away the Bluebell 5 has returned and it was great to be back.
With a turnout of over 300 runners, it was great to see so many of the Essex running community (and further afield) come together to help support the Essex Wildlife Trust and Pitsea Running Club.
Despite the muddy conditions the course looked amazing and the bluebells were out in full force.
Hope you had a chance to join us back at race HQ for some cake, we had a terrific selection.
Well done to everyone who ran - our congratulations to race winners:
1st Male: Russell McGavock
2nd Male: Shane Boxall, Southend AC
3rd Male: Rhys Gillard, Southend AC
1st Female: Jackie Stretton, Springfield Striders RC
2nd Female: Stephanie Migliorini, Leigh on Sea Striders
3rd Female: Eleanor Johnson, Leigh on Sea Striders
1st Vet Male: Aaron Gosling, Leigh on Sea Striders

Please join me in thanking our volunteers (both from Pitsea RC and Essex Wildlife Trust) who gave up their time to make this morning another great PRC event.
Also our thanks to St John Ambulance for providing the medical cover.
Our next event will be our Crown to Crown 5k race series, which will be on Wednesday 10th May at 7:30pm, hope to see you there.
Hope to see you back next year.
All the best,
