Bluebell 5 2025 Results

Updated: May 21

After a hugely successful event last year the Bluebell 5 was back once again amongst the beautiful surrounds of Little Havens Nature Reserve.

With a turnout of over 200 runners, it was great to see so many of the Essex running community (and further afield) come together to help support Haven Hospices and Pitsea Running Club.

We would like to thank Little Havens Hospice for allowing us to use their facilities and grounds once again this year along with the Essex Wildlife Trust for the nature reserve.

Much different to last year with less mud and firmer conditions under foot. Unfortunately a bit late for the Bluebells but some were still around.

Hope you had a chance to join us back at race HQ for some cake, we had a terrific selection.

Well done to everyone who ran - our congratulations to race winners (who each received wooden bowls carved from the trees in the local area):

Final Results:

Let's express our gratitude to the volunteers from Pitsea RC (and friends) and Essex Wildlife Trust who dedicated their time to ensure this morning was another successful PRC event. Also, a big thank you to those who baked or provided cakes for everyone to enjoy before and after the race.

Also our thanks to St John Ambulance for providing the medical cover and ensuring we had a safe event.

Hope to see you back next year.

All the best,

Michael
