May 2025 Crown to Crown Results

The first of our five evening 2025 Crown to Crown races.

We had an great turnout of 153 runners.

Despite the ongoing dry spell, the course was in superb condition, with spring fully blossoming. The sun was beginning to set behind the trees, and the conditions were quite favorable.

Congratulations to everyone who participated - special kudos to our race winners:

1st Male: Crispian Bloomfield, Billericay Striders (00:17:38)

1st Male Youth: Ollie Johnson, Brentwood Beagles AC (00:19:12

1st Female: Keirra Reed, Dengie 100 Runners (00:21:12)

1st Female Youth: None!

Unfortunately no female youth entries today but we hope some will join us at the next events and fight it out for the Champions of Champions trophy.

The next Crown to Crown race will take place on Wednesday, 11th June at 7:30pm. We hope to see you there.

Please join me in expressing gratitude to our volunteers, including those who stepped in at the last minute, for dedicating their time to ensure this morning's PRC event was a success.

I would also like to thank Nadine, Geraldine and John for capturing some of the images on the course and around the finish area. And to Al our kit secretary you has upgraded our hi viz vest and flags which looked great out on the course this evening.
