Good Friday 2025 Crown to Crown Results

The event on Good Friday marks the beginning of our 2025 Crown to Crown race series.

We had an impressive turnout of 251 runners, eager to make room for Easter eggs.

With Easter falling later this year and the recent dry spell, the course was in excellent shape, and spring was in full bloom. The sun emerged, warming things up pleasantly, although it made the final hill section challenging for our participants.

Congratulations to everyone who participated - special kudos to our race winners:

1st Male: Alec Finch, Thurrock Harriers

1st Male Youth: Max Chivers, Chelmsford AC

1st Female: Sarah Blockley

1st Female Youth: Olivia Forrest, Brentwood Beagles AC

We apologize to Max, as the Male Youth prize was mistakenly awarded to Ollie Johnson.

The next Crown to Crown race will take place on Wednesday, 14th May at 7:30pm. We hope to see you there.

Please join me in expressing gratitude to our volunteers, including those who stepped in at the last minute, for dedicating their time to ensure this morning's PRC event was a success.
