There were two Grand Prix races in the space of a week this month, with The Bill Hughes Memorial 10k (AKA the Rayleigh 10k) on Sunday.
The route was off-road and surprisingly tricky, following a very pretty, circular route through Hockley Woods, Grove Woods, Cherry Orchard Park and Gusted Hall Woods.
.And the week before was the Witham 10 mile, which was also the first Essex Championship race of the season.
